Powerful Meditations for All Levels of Practitioners

Powerful Meditations for All Levels of Practitioners

(Last Updated On: )

Meditation can be such a powerful tool, but many people don’t even know where to begin. I have meditated for years and I know if I let my practice slide- my anxiety comes back with a rage. There is not a better time than now to start or continue meditating on a regular basis. These powerful meditations for all levels of practitioners will help you become calm, present and happy in any situation life throws at you.

Choose a Meditation Based on Your Comfort Level

Linked below are several meditations which are categorized according to your comfort level. These include- beginner, moderate and advanced level meditations. If you have never meditated or only meditated a few times in your life, I would choose the beginner level. If you have meditated pretty regularly for a couple years, I would choose the mid level meditations. And lastly, if you are a seasoned vet and have meditated regularly over two years, you should choose the advanced level.

Of course, always choose what you feel most comfortable with. If you meditated for a while when you were younger, but gave it up and haven’t sat still for 10 years… you may want to go back to the beginner level. If you have meditated for a couple years, but are inconsistent- I would choose mid level. Finally, If you have meditated regularly every day for a year and feel really confident in your inner work, choose the advanced level to push yourself.

You can always start at a level to see where you are at, and then go from there.

Beginner Level Meditations

1.) Eckhart Tolle- Essential Meditations

This was my first guided meditation and it helped launch my practice to what it is today. I highly recommend starting here if you have meditated a few times before but have no set routine. This is great course to help you get back to the inner work and a good reminder of the importance of having a regular practice.

Eckhart will guide you in discovering:

  • Why stillness is much more than quieting the unruly mind
  • Why awakening is a process of unlearning your assumptions and biases
  • The infinite space hidden between your thoughts
  • The joyous simplicity of present-moment mindfulness
  • And many more…

2.) Jack Kornfield- Meditations for Beginners

This short (2 hour) guide is the perfect starting point for anyone who has never meditated in their life. Renowned teacher Jack Kornfield uses clear language and step-by-step guidance to show you how to start- and stick with- a daily meditation practice.

I recommend using this guide as a starting point before you start any other meditation courses.
